Hey thanks papasmurf...it was the relay that failed to bring my window up. Went to the junk yard this morning. Got the relay of a z32...wich had the five lugs...got trans boot, air conditioning lever, bunch of the panel buttons to hold on the panels, and a full dohc gauge cluster...plus some 280z memrobilia..al for 30 bux!

They only had three s13..and one had both quarter glasses...and both were perfect....I just didn't know how top take them off...two piggies (1 coupe 1 fastback) 1 chuki. Yee yuhh!

Thanx for the help again.

Dude, with 7k-10k you could get a flawless 240 with low miles. Probably one with a swap already. Just wait for a good one though. and even if a 240 breaks down, the parts are sooooo cheap.

Hey, I was wondering What is 'HICAS' And what years of two40's have it?That and Iknow the older 240's are called pignose right. Whats the other one that well.. isn't pignose. Are there any particular models of two40's and year people strive to find? If so, Why so?

Is that a legit question, or are you stirring ****?

You'd probably get a better/faster response with a "I need help Identifying a turbo" type of thread in either the 240 gen or the KA-T or SR forum. You also might want to get some more shots from different angles. My guess is a Garret super 60? I'm not great at identifying turbos though.

Honestly, if I could chose, I'd get an SE. I hate manually rolling my windows.

HICAS is, in short, is 4 wheel steering. Great for auto-x, bad for drifting.

Quick question, I'm looking around for some wheels & tires for my 240 (1997) and was wondering what tire sizes that will fit a stock 240 without rubbing? (I was thinking 245's on the back, 225 on front) my car is not lowered right now, but im planning on lowering it with eibach sportlines or tein's s's.

I beleive it is possible, but it doesn't work as well. KA-T guys used to do it fairly often. I would think it would also work if you drilled a specific sized hole in your throttle valve to let in air. How big? That I do not know. Start small and work your way up? The other way to do it would be to adjust your throttle cable so that it keeps the valve cracked a little bit.

First, select your rocket. I reccommend anything bigger than 800 lbs of thrust. After that, we have to design the rocket holding system to be tailored to that specific rocket.

I messed up one of my headlights, and i need to bring it back to life. I used meguiars platx polish and it worked, but i still saw traces of yellow in the plastic. So i took it upon myself to sand it with the polish. My uncle gave me 400 grit. So after that i wet sanded it, dont think any of that made a diff. SO now i have a clear headlight and an ashy headlight. How do i bring the ashy one back to life.

Could some one explain how exactly what a 8:1 or 12:1 FMU means. I'm slowly buying all the parts I need in order to turbo the KA and I'm currently confused when it comes to the fuel system and pressure.

so i was talking to this guy the other day. he had a celica and he had just got it and he was dying to show it off to someone. so we are talking and he revs it up to like mach holy sh*t and the he tells me its supercharged. i laughed and i told him to open the hood and show me. he goes on about how fast this completely stock celica is and then tells you can get up to 10 hp by tightening up the battery terminals.

well im new here, i drive a completely stock 1993 240sx fastback.just got it a little while ago and im saving up some money to buy some coilovers or just springs.

FMU stands for fuel management unit... I think. 8:1 means that for ever 1 psi of boost, the FMU adds 8psi of fuel. 12:1 adds 12psi for every 1 psi of boost. You should be just fine with 8:1, but don't run more than about 7 lbs of boost with it. Make sure you get a better fuel pump than stock.

If you really want to know... I think the giants are a bunch of cheaters and faked those 2 injuries in the pat's last scoring drive. That enabled them to have enough time on their final drive to get down the field and score. That being said, Brady was off all night, and was throwing like crap. That and he got sacked a whopping 5 fuggin times. Matt Light was sucking out loud, and the reffs were making far too many calls in favor of the giants. There also should have been a fumble recovery or 2 to go towards the pats... but whose counting?

Real noob question here. Is it wise or even pratical to get a stock 240sx and do a CA18DET engine swap for it. Just really curious as the CA18DET isnt too expensive and is quite a potent engine.
