Hey thanks papasmurf...it was the relay that failed to bring my window up. Went to the junk yard this morning. Got the relay of a z32...wich had the five lugs...got trans boot, air conditioning lever, bunch of the panel buttons to hold on the panels, and a full dohc gauge cluster...plus some 280z memrobilia..al for 30 bux!PapaSmurf2k3 wrote:chances are that if it was waterlogged, it needs to get replaced reguardless. The only other options of why your window will not work are: The switch, and the motor itself. If you want, you can try putting power directly to the motor to see if it still works.
ya ofcourse.RustyHampster wrote:Dude, with 7k-10k you could get a flawless 240 with low miles. Probably one with a swap already. Just wait for a good one though. and even if a 240 breaks down, the parts are sooooo cheap.
well lets get that rocket going lolPapaSmurf2k3 wrote:

This thread should answer those questionshahanoonehasthisnameyet wrote:Hey, I was wondering What is 'HICAS' And what years of two40's have it?That and Iknow the older 240's are called pignose right. Whats the other one that well.. isn't pignose. Are there any particular models of two40's and year people strive to find? If so, Why so?
Is that a legit question, or are you stirring ****?s14tan wrote:Hi Guys! Im new here and I would like to know what this is.
I was just messing with you guys.PapaSmurf2k3 wrote:

You'd probably get a better/faster response with a "I need help Identifying a turbo" type of thread in either the 240 gen or the KA-T or SR forum. You also might want to get some more shots from different angles. My guess is a Garret super 60? I'm not great at identifying turbos though.
Honestly, if I could chose, I'd get an SE. I hate manually rolling my windows.hahanoonehasthisnameyet wrote:Nos...it straps on your ride too. All the drifer's and show cars use it... Oh and those dingling dice mirror things add 10 hp too...
But hey I got a SERIOUS question... Say I was going to buy a 240 coupe. 93 and under you know. Ne old coupe would do or is there a "oooooo SE model" supirior to others..?
That and whats HICAS?
I beleive it is possible, but it doesn't work as well. KA-T guys used to do it fairly often. I would think it would also work if you drilled a specific sized hole in your throttle valve to let in air. How big? That I do not know. Start small and work your way up? The other way to do it would be to adjust your throttle cable so that it keeps the valve cracked a little bit.ka-t4u wrote:hi guys do you think it is possible to eliminate my iacv system and control my idle with my throttle body only? i already posted an the KA forums but maybe here i'll get a quicker response, any input will help, it is a ka24de...
First, select your rocket. I reccommend anything bigger than 800 lbs of thrust. After that, we have to design the rocket holding system to be tailored to that specific rocket.Scuffed_ChukiCoupe wrote:what about identifying a rocket to strap to my zenki so i can beat super fast civcs with k-series type r motors
FMU stands for fuel management unit... I think. 8:1 means that for ever 1 psi of boost, the FMU adds 8psi of fuel. 12:1 adds 12psi for every 1 psi of boost. You should be just fine with 8:1, but don't run more than about 7 lbs of boost with it. Make sure you get a better fuel pump than stock.RCG_Savage wrote:Could some one explain how exactly what a 8:1 or 12:1 FMU means. I'm slowly buying all the parts I need in order to turbo the KA and I'm currently confused when it comes to the fuel system and pressure.
