I'm New, Got A Dash Alert Question

Hi all!

Proud owner of 08 Altima Coupe.

I've had no problems yet but I was on a long road trip and i got this dash alert that came up, it looked like a clock with a wifi signal coming out of the top, and it said 1.5h next to it.

Anyone have a clue what this is. I looked in the manuals but couldn't find that alert.

i dont recognize that...

could it have been the TPMS light? it looks like this

(_) with a wavy line on the bottom and an "!" in the middle of it?

Hey, nah i'm not talking about the tiny alert icons, like low tire pressure etc.

It's in the big dash screen where you see ur miles and MPG and outside temp etc.

That looks like possibly an alert for rest time.Did you set a trip alert on your way.

Ahhh, nah i didnt set any rest time, but maybe i did by mistake or it was there by default?

hahahah yeah its a "rest reminder"... you can set that, and to remind you about oil/filter etc.. Where in NY?

You know what TPMS is right? If not, its tire pressure monitoring system. It means You need to check your tire pressure and inflate the tires to the specs on the driver side door sill. Do it soon! It will help your fuel economy.

the tpms light could mean a couple things. either your tires are over or under inflated or the signal receiver isn't picking the signal. if it's not your tire pressure take it in to a tire dealer and tell them you need your tpms tested and possibly re-calibrated.
