Hey, I'm new to the board, and had a quick couple of questions...First off, I have a KA '96 240 base model with Apexi World Sport coilovers (soooo nice), drop in filter, plugs, wires, and exhaust, nothing special...

1) I know it won't be much, but how much tunability and power am I looking at by installing an Apex S-AFC. I already ordered it because like everyone else I want to eventually do a swap, and I figured its a good mod since I can use it on both engines.

2) Would shifter bushings for an 89-94 work on my 96, because all I can find are bushings for those years, and I'm leary about going through Nissan to get any parts for my car (due to expense).

3) Does anyone else's trunk rattle? My trunk latch seems to be loose, and the screws I believe are stripped, because they won't tighten or come out. Does anyone make trunk locks for the car, something that looks nice?

I guess that's about it, thanks for any responses. Sorry for the length.

Oh yeah, anyone know what Nissan charges for a new lsd diff? Is it worth it to buy a used one (most likely off an S13, since that is all that is in the junkyards by me)?

1.) S-AFC will give minimal power on the N/a motor but will allow you to tune out BOV hesitation and rich/lean spots in the SR/CA.

2.) Honestly I dont know but I also dont see how they wouldnt since they use the same transmission.

3.) Havent had any problems with trunk rattle... dont know of any locks for the car... perhaps try cutting a peice of soft rubbery material and placing it on the latch so that it wont rattle.

4.) You never want to know what Nissan charges for any 240SX part. Find one in a Junkyard or on Ebay... all you need is a R200 differential, they come in a variety of cars (300Z, 240SX, J30, etc.). If you must know I remember asking and being quoted $800 for the new differential. If you must have a new one then get a Kaaz or a Quaife 2-way.

You need a R200V if you wanna rock the VLSD.
