Just made my acount two seconds ago and I got some questions.Before I buy this car im looking at I need to do my home work before I bust my balls on a lemon.

lookn' at my dream car, 240 coupe with s13 front end conversion and a sr20 red top with some other little things. its 3500$... it's said to idle rought? said to be ignition timing.

Now the Q? Could this problem be as much as a wiggle wire fix or a possible 800$ fix + headache. Seeing as far as i know the iginition timing has to do with electronics right? I live 8 hours away so i would have to know all i could before a decision.

any help will greatly be appreciated

Very doubtful that his idle problem would be ignition timing, that sounds like a load of crap. If it was just ign timing he could rotate his CAS and fix it i believe.

Rough idle could be caused by many things, go over to the SR engine section and search/lurk for the causes.

Whoooo, a ray of hope. Now what is the CAS may I ask?Thanks for the advise, Now i have to go and find the SR section now (no reason really, I think the little things are cute so I throw them in for good measure.)
