I'm new and have a question!

Hi my name is Ben and I'm 20 years old and live in California and I stumbled upon these forums searching for reviews on the G35. I recently came across a 2006 G35 sedan with 92k miles being sold by a good friend of mines brother. He is the second owner and originally bought it from a dealership. He says a lot of the miles are highway, driving back and forth from California to Oklahoma and California to Denver. The car has no engine problems, but has a few scratches and and a small crack on the front bumper on the right side. I am paying 8250 for it! I've taken it to my mechanic and it checks out, so my question to you is, what do you think? Thanks.

The nada guide lists clean retail at 14525, rough trade-in at 8850. KBB has private party retail in just good condition at 10183. Get a carfax report and see what it says. It won't tell you everything but it might help. Next take the VIN to an Infiniti dealer and see what they have on the vehicle in the way of recalls and service performed. Then if this all checks out and you have trust in your mechanic go for it. It's the really low price that has me worried.

As does everyone else, but keep in mind its a GOOD friends brother who I know to an extent. He drives it all over and I see him and it's in good shape and my dad who is pretty knowledgeable drove the car as did I and didn't experience any problems.
