Hey guys, I own a '91 Nissan 240sx SE coupe w/sunroof and HUD. Nice to meet you all!

I'm trying to change my oil-pan gasket on the KA24DE and having issues finding a good spot to jack up the engine a few inches to slide the oil pan out. where the bellhousing meets the transmission?

I think i need to remove the sway bar as well?

Thanks for any help! again, I'm just trying to remove my oil pan to replace the gasket :(

I read I might have to drop the crossmember down but not completely off? That's different than the sway bar yea?

THANKS

No real good place to jack the engine up. Would be preferred to have a hoist and lift from the top.

I've always used the crank pulley. I put a block of wood on the jack and just go straight up from there.
Dropping the sway bar will definitely help. There should be 2 brackets that hold it to the cross member, and then a connection at each end where it goes to the control arm.
