I've always thought that there should be a sticky thread that is nothing but a gallery for people to post their wheels... but I guess people could always use the regular sticky member's gallery for this.

Sure, the problem is that you have to sort through countless stock Versas in order to find one that doesn't just have fog lights or tint...

I think creating a thread with everyone's suspension setups would help. I know a big issue for me is how big of a wheel I can get away with on a lowered car without rubbing. Not to mention, seeing the wheels on the car before you buy is always helpful.

I agree with jfanaselle and FrancesTheMute that having a sticky dedicated to pictures of peoples' wheels would be very helpful as the rest of us decide what wheels we want to buy. How do we go about getting that set up?

We have a thread on MIN called "Post your suspension setup". Everyone posts their suspension mods, wheels (w/sizes), and tires (w/sizes). People are pretty good about including a picture or two also. I've found it very helpful since for some reason my brain can't grasp the offset concept. This is just how we did it though.

To be honest, this probably will not happen.

First thing going against you is the fact that multiple online tire resellers have a configurator that will allow you to see how wheels look on your vehicle.

The second problem is that, as it is, we have too many stickies. Ideally we want to have only three. We're always trying to figure out how to rearrange the portal and the forum so that there aren't too many stickies, but everyone gets the info they need.

Most of those resellers don't take into account lowering, brands they don't carry, etc... I don't necessarily think the thread needs to be stickied, but I think it would be helpful for people to post. TireRack does nothing for me, but that's just my personal opinion.

I agree with our mute friend... although the TireRack preview is helpful, it looks VERY artificial (as it is) and the rims always look quite different once on the car.
