I picked up my G37 Convertible yesterday! I was lucky enough to land the Premier Edition, and it's so exciting. Looking forward to many many years of driving this car!

Congrats!I am picking up my G37 Sport 6MT Convertible this afternoon.

Your car is BEAUTIFUL & I love the red interior. Local dealers by me have a total of 7 of the Premier Editions in stock & I could have made a fantastic deal but I really want a manual trans.

Mine is the same exterior color (Platinum Graphite) with the charcoal/aluminum interior.

Good luck

An article from last year I found:

http://www.worldcarfans.com/10...ition

Quote »Infiniti will be making its new G37 Covertible Premier Edition available only through Bloomingdale's months before the car makes it to dealerships across the US. The unusual marketing campaign will put just 199 Premium Editions up for purchase through the department store's holiday catalogs mail order system. Prospective buyers can try to place their orders the old fashioned way, by telephone, starting on November 10th.

This premium edition will come with a few special features, including 19-inch wheels, a snazzy grill, and a luxury interior called Monaco Red with leather-trim and hand-crafted wood.

The G37 will be officially launched at the LA Motor Show on November 19th. The G37 convertible will also be on display at 4 selected Bloomingdale stores across the US from December 10 to January 10.

The 2009 G37 Convertible comes with Nissan's new 3.7 liter, 330 hp V6. It will be available in US dealerships next spring.[/quote]

I was gung ho on a premier and then I notice something from the Canadian site:

http://www.infiniti.ca/vehicle...ies=J

Premier edition is actually cheaper than a fully loaded G37c. While you get red leather, cooled seats and maple wood, you actually lose a LOT of other toys and it has smaller brakes(!) and no sport steering. So as rare as it is, it's a gimped version of G37c.

Does cooled red leather really cost that much that they have to cut cost on other goodies? Is that the reason why Premium does not show up on the spec sheet in the US site?

I know US and Canada equipments differs most the time but for limited edition like the Premier, you would think they would be the same....

Look at this interior, the 7AT is missing the paddle shifter and aluminum pedals.

Have the cooled red leather not available to all G37c is a blunder IMO.

I applaud you sir!I think you can get paddle shifters installed as an accessory anyway so get to it! also here:18002-1NC0Cis the part number for the aluminum pedal, but its cost like $200 because it comes with the whole actuator and all. The brake pedal is like $12 part number 36375-CA000

Red leather looks great! Plus the matching wood trim... You were lucky to get one of these. It will be rare to see another one. I finally decided against the sport package because the cooled seats were more important. (I live in Texas) and besides, how often would you use the paddle shifters in every day use? You made an excellent choice. It really looks great.
