I finally have time in my ex-partner's shop beginning tomorrow. Engine will be pulled and dismantled. Block, Pauters, CP's and crank will be sent out to our machine shop for honing and balancing. KAT coming soon! I'll have another update soon ... with pics.

I noticed the announcement right after posting and came back and removed the question regarding signatures. Thanks anyway.

I bought it from a close friend, but it was fabricated by another friend at BYP ... I got a lot of friends ;) Well, leaving right now to go to the shop.

Removal and dismantle of the engine went well. Block is good and no scoring on the bearing journals; I'm a happy man especially considering that 1st motor (some might recall the donor block). For an engine with 78K miles it was very clean internally. Took some pics, but left the dern camera at the shop. The timing chain guides were just barely worn, but I'll replace them anyway.

I did notice slight scoring of the pressure plate's fingers where the TOB engages ... I'm thinking not really abnormal considering the OEM one looks about the same. I may replace the clutch disc at this time (again) ... I'm not overly impressed with the ClutchMaster III. Seems to chatter a bit and I think the noise when letting off the throttle may be from the clutch disc's springs.

What clutch assembly are some of you high boost KA owners using? ... Not just brand, but material, # of puck(s), sprung or not? ... and how do you like it?
