Your best bet OP is to get it out of your yard, put it in the driveway or a decent place to work on it. Start removing parts that look busted or worn or cracked etc... And replace them. If you need an engine, look in the classifieds, there are a few stock KA24DE's available in there, good prices. Swap the motor into it, then start looking at the suspension and other components, I.E. steering, brakes, bearings, etc... Replace any broken or harchly fatigued items and start buying parts to enhance its performance and handling.
Looks like a good platform. Though if it is sitting in your yard, check extensively for rust before you do anything. If the frame rails are rusted through, or if the rear suspension frame is rusted. Those are things to check to see if the car is worth spending any time on.
Good luck and spend some time in the 240sx builds section. Lots of builds, lots of ideas of where to start, and where to go.
