As you all know I am your friendly NICO Admin fast approaching middle age and driving a Q45 (32 valve V8 w/ VVT..:D..)

And some will have noticed the recent addtion on an S13 in my sig.

Well I finally (!) started driving my car 3 days ago, as it was being imrpoved on by fellow NICO members gsr5778 (Joel) and altima2000... ( Michael) and I was away for training

Well, now the <complete> set of Energy ployurethanes are in ( the old set was cracked or split all of them) new shocks (Togico Blues) new Springs ( Teins), and a manual boost controller set to 11 lbs ( my "training wheels" set-up).The car is also lighter than stock as much of the interior is still stripped out.

After finally getting it registered today I have been going a bit crazy..:oface, he,he....

This car is QUICK! And so much fun , I <love> sounding off my BOV at an unsuspecting Hoinda with VTEC stickers..:D

I am hooked!

So much fun!Now I know what you young'uns were raving about. And it handles like a go cart with the handling set-up.

My mind is already wandering to brake kits and the like..

Fred...:fruit

Fred, have a look at http://www.splparts.com ... I'm going back to work for them June 1st, gimme a call and I'll see what I can rustle up for ya.

We will be advertising with NICO as well. Kuah's doing the family thing right now so he hasn't gotten back to me.

Dang that would be sweet if we could get splparts to give us the hook up, I need a bunch of stuff from them.

I can attest to Fred's car being badass. I terrorized his neighborhood in Louisville for a short time, and it is indeed quick.

You 240 knuckleheads have got THIS old Admin looking for a droptop 240 to do an SR swap (or built KA-T) with...

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Alan and Greg:

The car is faster now (just got boost controller) and soooo much tighter in its reactions, since all the split and crunched bushings (and I do mean <all>) have been replaced by brand new energy's.

Ride is very, very sweet. Checkered, Id rather have a green valve cover than a huge sticker decal on the rear half of my car. Keep it clean Frederick.

Can't be too much faster than when I drove it... I was getting 10 psi when it was cooler outside.

Nice Q, especially your nitrous setup, very clean. I've been attached to the 240sx since freshmen year when i saw a hatch but didn't know what it was, just found out last year that my mystery car was a Nissan....

I haven't seen very many Q's around here. The ones I do see have old women driving them (like 80's), so all I base my opinions are what I see.

It took those old women 80 years to figure out how nice the Q is, we just have some members that are ahead of the game :pface
