skyline R33 with series 2 RB25DET

Custom top mount t3/t4 manifold
Garrett 60trim with a 70mm inlet (2.75 id coupler okay). I am ditching the blow threw subaru MAF on the intercoolers cool side and want to properly install it pre turbo using a Z32 MAF. I also want to recirculate the BOV, and fit the catch can between the turbo and MAF all while making a 45, and changing from 2.75ID to 3.125ID all with 2 fittings for the BOV and catch can.

I can find a intake pipe silicone or metal to do so. And I dont want to 2.75 coupler, pipe, 2.75 nipple coupler, pipe, 2.75 nipple coupler, pipe, 2.75 to 3.125 45 coupler to Z32 maf to maf adapter to filter it. I dont mind one step up, but not a ton. So I want to see what else people are using to do this.

Basically below. Or is there a way to install hose barb fitting into a silicone coupler while getting a seal? It's not going to be under boost of coarse, but I do not want leaks.

to do it properly you would just get a aluminum 45" in the size you need (3" or larger would be better) and have the fittings you need welded on. the you just use a reducing coupler at the turbo and a straight 3" coupler on the z32 maf

I tried too but it bored the hell out of me so I just threw up the link in hoping it would help you find parts.

Well..... 7MGTE intake pipes at 3.125 inch have a 45 bend and three nipples so I only need to reduce join once.

those have more than a single 45 in them. they are a compound curve as well. i don't understand why you're making it so hard (and expensive)? it'll cost you all of 40-50 bucks to just have it made (including materials) am i missing something or are you hell bent on having it made from silicone?

The issue is the manifold which placed the turbo WAY too far forward. And a blow through is not a design that I wish to pursue so I need to make this happen in a small space. The angle is 45 degree's, And I am only using one reducer and one coupler now. The pipe section is being cut down and the ends are being rolled for the coupler connection.

I am currently rewiring / re-plumbing, and correcting all the issues at hand with some minor upgrades. Once up and running correctly future plan will be to swap to a larger turbo / different manifold and downpipe set up.

i see now. your turbo sits a little farther forward than most. my setup is very close to yours but not quite as far forward. might want to look into putting a 90 on the turbo then a 45 off that. here's my setup and there's room to make it tighter but cutting length off the pipe and coupler...i just didn't need too

Yeah set ups are similar, the guy who owned this 33 before me kinda just made things work. Now the motor is well built, manifold is nice, but I do like your set up. I think I may have to paint my intake manifold black now. I am about done with the tucking of the harness and plumbing. but seeing what you did with the black looks great

Oh and when I say tuck of the harness.... that entire mess is gone above.

believe me...i understand the tucking. i am in the process of finishing up a tuck and clean on a 99 r34 right now. only reason i posted the pic of mine was to show you the intake pipe and maf setup. i'd be willing to bet you could do the same and it would work. just compact it a little
