Anyone have aftermarket in dash navs installed? Pictures and information would be nice. I want some affordable, maybe even used, but I really do want in dash for sure. If not, I'll settle with this new tomtom I have. Hmph.

I've found some Apline products. Any good?

1. if your tech savvy and like messing with things (software wise) than buy an AVIC unit.

2. if you want a hot and functional nav thats not as open to hacking/customizing, def go with the Kenwood DNX-8120

(kenwood is not cheap, but you get what you pay for, its a great unit. AVIC is now a great unit as well, it is quite an open unit when it comes to software. thats what drew me to it.)

Yup, check the A/V section. Tons of members with aftermarket nav systems in there.
