I finally sold my albatross, I mean 2003 Murano. After paying for a whole new CAT system ($2,100), a new exhaust manifold, motor mounts, alternator, driver's seat actuator, fuel filler release actuator, and a host of other issues during the 21/2 years I owned this car, it now is the property of Nothridge Toyota. While I liked the style and the ride, Nissan failed to deliver on reliability and afordability.
The final stab was the way in which the car failed to hold its value. I count myself luck that I had no CVT trouble, but then, I did the $400 service thing at 80K.
It was a sexy car but honestly, it will be a cold day in you-know-where before I buy another one.
