I've been a member here for a long time but have been away exploring European cars for a while. The car market has brought me back to Infiniti as my tastes have changed and it turns out the QX70 was the vehicle I want now, but of course stopped being made 4 years ago. Anyway, the one I got has some small rectangular magnets stuck on the front door sills and I'm not quite sure why they were put there or if they serve any purpose.

Has anyone else seen magnets stuck in this particular place?
