Well, Late this summer i purchased a 3rd vehicle/2nd toy; a stroker 280z. So now i'm back in the Nissan Family.
It's good to be back
But the Miata is just to much fun to get rid of.
Now since i live in madison wi, and i only have a 2 car garage, this gave me the idea to store/lend the miata to my parents in tucson az for the winter and fly back to wi. No, of course it doesnt make sense financially or for convenience sake. But the experience was worth it, especially since i was very purposeful in my route making.
Anyway, the trip really opened my eyes and made me realize that people just dont do these kinds of trips anymore, just go to see things.
In monument valley Utah, I threw all my caution and reservations in the wind and even took the car off-roading. I knew this was a bad idea, but bad ideas make for good stories.
Thats in the video part 6
I stuck my gopro to the windshield and did a time lapse of the trip.
Here are the highlights from the more interesting drives as well as some individual shots i pulled from the nearly 10,000 photos it took.
