Well... I'm back. I used to post under the name Attwater, but it has been awhile so I changed my name. A few years ago I had put some posts up about rewiring the interior lights (and hvac) with LEDs. I had also posted some pics of my interior when I had it done. Anyhow, I've been focused on other things for awhile but I've found the time to get back to working on my car.The vert came out of the bodyshop today. I'd been sitting on a body kit for a long time and decided to go ahead and get it finished. This is a 1993. It has come a long way in the years that I've owned it. I'll post some pics. I didn't have optimal lighting conditions for the pics today, but I think they came out ok. I'd be happy to get some feedback. I'll be around here more frequently now, so I look forward to contributing.

I got your help when I was about to buy springs or coilovers. Right after that, you disappeared. I ended up buying Stance GR+ Pro coilovers. Not sure if you've seen pictures of my car. Go ahead and check it out. It's come a long way too. Get a Xenon front lip then your good. Next is 5 speed swap for sure.

Looks great man! I agree with Nemo...get a Xenon front lip and it will really finish the look. Oh yeah...is that a Bomex rear half-bumper? Rear pics please Nice looking paint as well!! Great job!

Your vert looks sharp man! That front lip ain't a bad idea. I actually have the bomex front bumper to match the skirts and the rear undercover but I opted to leave it off. I didn't want the car so low that I couldn't pull into the gas station... Front lip could be a better option.

Is it easy to find part? It's weird that two cars with Bomex rear undercovers popped up in one week. I think it looks even better than OEM rear valances.

Please submit first two pictures for vert calendar!!zer...endar

I agree, I think the Bomex cover looks better then OEM valances too.

Bluejay, do you have much problems scraping the Bomex side skirts? they look like they could cause problems...but they look great! I've got some OEM replicas and I'm trying to decide if the Bomex rear cover will look right with them.

I found a few places that sell the cover 94_240sx, btw...it's the Bomex Type 1 UAD-013 if you already didn't know. Here is a link to one of the places, $190 isn't too bad either: http://www.ilovebodykits.com/p....html

Nope, no problems scraping the side skirts. I think that if I had elected to install the matching front bumper, then I would be running into problems. Anyone know what material the Xenon lip is made from?

ABS plastic just like OEM bumper. It's those thick rubber material that won't get damaged or cracked easily. You will love it for sure.

wmdavis007, that is a good price. I went to Bomex store and it was $230.

Actually the Xenon lip is made of low pressure Reaction Injection Molded Polyurethane or as most call it urethane.

Right, right. What was I thinking? OEM isde skirts and rear valances are ABS plastic. Pig nose lip and Xenon lips are Urethane. Thick rubbery piece, and strong enough to be painted.

What's the story with the front lip? I see that a lot of people don't paint it. Is that how it is supposed to be, or do people just like the style of leaving it unpainted?

I'm running the 30mm aluminum calipers from the 300zx TT. They used to say nissan on them, but I ended up having to grind off the raised Nissan letters awhile ago. ...long story having to do with the fact that H&R includes garbage wheel studs with their spacers. Ended up having to buy nismo wheel studs, but the damage was already done.

As for me...I like the lip black on my red car but not sure what others think. When I get my car re painted I will most likely have the lip painted but for now I like it as is. My only problem with getting it painted is I scrap the lip a lot and if it was painted it may start looking crappy after a year or so.

I wondered about that. Safe to assume that a lot of people have trouble with scraping the lip?

Do what I did to mine. Be creative. Go home depot and buy some good quality thin rubber molding and attach it under the lip. I put Nismo rubber lip on mine though. That way you can replace the molding anytime you want and no need to paint the lip again.

Plain "L" shaped rubber molding. Believe it or not, this is NISMO part and quality is top notch.

Cut like this for the corners and attach.

Finished product.
