I know it's a been a while since I've been around and to those that I'm supposed to be conducting transactions for, I will get everything taken care of. I've been trying to get my woman's car out the paint shop (unfinshed) just to run it at the last import event at Moroso Motorsports Park and it took a lot of my spare time to do as such. After beating one of my friends and 400hp VW GTI with a sucky 14.7@104mph and then another friend and his 471whp KA24DET powered 240 with yet another 14.7@103mph and that preparation had finally caught up to me and burned me out.

I must have the most abused CA18DET around that shows no sign of wanting to blow-up. As a matter of fact, the car runs even more wicked that before; with the hks wastegate exhibiting some nasty sounding noise that entertained the crowd. At 15psi we estimate the car to be around 350-360whp and it runs hard and wicked despite the absence of maintenance.

CA18s live long and can take retarded amounts of abuse if you make sure the timing and fuel issues are adequate and or up to par. So to those that ordered engines, the'll be here by the 10th of January or sooner and "Booktalon" yours will get to you by next week and this I promise. Thanks for the patience!

Dee

WOW! 104mph trap times? JUDAS PRIEST man! Get some slicks on that thing and hook it da fawk up!

I was running 14.9's at 90mph with my B20 powered EK hatch. 104mph trap times in that little Sentra has 12's written all over it!

My friend with the KA24DE(T) powered 240 did a 14.8@117mph, but he had drag radials and was running 25psi of boost as opposed to my garbage, mitch-match street tires and 15psi of boost. He said he thought he could catch up, but once grabbed 3rd gear he said he watched me just pull away. What happens when I run 20+ psi andthrow on some slicks:D ? The whole idea behind bringing the car there was to see how the new gear box and axles perform and what effect did not changing the spark plug in nearly 2 years would and happy to say that everything went fine.

He told me that it would be out by Christmas week, but I haven't heard from him as well. Oh well, if this too much for you (because it is for me) and if you can't wait till next week, then I'll FEDEX your money back next day upon your request.

:(

Well, from the valves I got from Ray, 5 seem to be sealing shut pretty good. One exhaust port seems not to be liking any of the exhaust valves. The valve sticks shut. This is without the springs in yet. A little oil helps it move a bit more freely though. So im just going to guess and hope that once everything is back together it will function just fine.

Also some shop around here said he knew were a complete CA motor was at for $150. Hopefully it will be in good condition for me to use the head and have a spare block.

I was in Orlando last night delivering that 240 that we built which was to be driven to Mississippi and they made it back. Let me know how everything goes with your motor.

These were ordered 2 months ago and he promised this specific batch for me to unload for him. I own one of them and the others are open season.
