to making cars lighter. All I do is sit around and think about weight that I can remove from my S14. My car is already approx. 2480 lbs. even with the 75 lbs. roll bar and all I can think of is removing more weight. I just got my NX and I've already removed 54 lbs. of weight out of it and I want to strip it to the bone.

Anyone else got this bug? I know Chet does.

Hell I got a whole spreadsheet of crap I've removed!

I value my rear seat far too highly as a shelf-o'-crap to take it out. =\

I think most of the weight in your car is behind the wheel Alan :P

If I lose 10 pounds it will help my car in the quarter mile!

You could lose some weight instead of cannibalizing your car. Slimfast, trimspa, atkins. Just a thought....jk We can even get stickers made..."powered by slimfast" or something to that extent.

isn't it something like 100 lbs shaves off a .1 of a second?

Depends on how fast you are going to begin with. That seems to be true with 12's or right around there... but when you are in the 15's it seems to be good for .2 - .3
