So after getting a diagnostic I was told the reason why I'm not getting any power to my coils was becuase of my ECU not throwing a ground to the EGI and IGN relays therefore I was not getting spark...so I get an ecu and sure enough I now have power to my coils but guess what still no spark, yes I've checked the CAS, coils and injectors are within ohm specs, I hear the injectors fire when I spin the cas, but I'm on my 3rd PTU because they never pass that damn continuity test. but get this without the ptu my car just cranks, with the ptu it simply stumbles as if it running on one cylinder. Could I've shorted or blown all 3 ptu when I had the bad ECU? I don't know what else to check.

Hoe are you checking for spark?

Are you still getting 12v to the 6 ptu pins?

I removed a coil and grounded the spark plug and saw no spark. And Yes when the car is in the on position I have 12 volts at the ptu harness that has the 6 slots to which the ptu connects to.

I'm having similar problems but i have no fire and the fuel injectors don't "tick" when I turn the cas with the fuel fuse out.

you have to have the fuel injection fuse in for that test, pulling the fuel pump relay in the drivers kick panel is advisable

on the issue of spark, if you can find someone with a consult, have then check it they can isolate each coilpack and injector to find the probelm much quicker and easier

I'm having the same problem. My PTUs were testing bad. You have to test them per a 94 service manual if you are using a new style PTU with the add-on harness.

Check your coil packs, a friend mine said that this would but on a dodge Durango. He said that the harness went bad

Umm...why did we dig up a 6 year old thread? My guess is he wasn't testing the PTU properly. You have to make like 40 different connections, and its tough with just 1 set of hands.
