The sad part is, they see a post like that on NICO and think we're all morons.

I'll keep my comments to myself.

what you guys talkin bout???

I gotta quick release T47 turbo on my N/A KA24E that pops off the same way my steering wheel does, and to keep it low profile, I didnt even have to get an intercooler, I just re-routed the piping into my radiator - works just as good!!!!

And I can push 42lbs of boost - with the turbo off!!

Obviously that guy is a TRUE "import tuner" because he is one of the few people on the internet, along with myself, that know about the "break-away" quick release steering wheels -- I mean turbochargers!! You losers!!!!

That has to be the reason i dont join other forums.

All of the posters there are true as$holes, even if the thread starter knew absolutely nothing about turbo and engines and weight ratios.

Its like everyone thinks they are better there or something.

Truly feel sorry for that guy...even after he came back and tried to ask for help he was put further into the dirt...the kid admitted he was absolutely helpless...tsk tsk tsk. Thank God for NICO .

that is the most pitiful thing i have ever seen. That was way worse than Ok im a street racer...

i really feel bad for that guy. He even came back for real help, and they still flamed the s#1t out of him. Yea sometimes a good flaming is fun, but that was just too much. Its one thing if they just say something totally idiotic, but when someone is seriously looking for help, and comes back repeatedly despite extreme flaming, thats just wrong.

whatever... nico is the only decent forum neway.

Yea I was about to join Fresh Alloy...

But it seemed like I would get flamed if I was driving anything slower than a rb26.

Thats why I love NICO.

Well I am sure I will get flamed for this at some point, but the guy isn't completely off his rocker. Squires Turbo Systems Inc. (aka STS) has remote mount turbo systems for trucks, the new GTO, some F-bodies, and are developing or have already developed them for Honda and Acuras as well. Now as far as a 240 kit goes, never heard of it but I am sure one could be adapted. I had heard about them on Trucks! once and recently they have an article in.....I believe it the current issue of HCI(like I said, I know I am probably going to get flamed). Its really an odd system but very interesting.I think their site is http://www.ststurbo.com. Just food for thought.
