Yea, as I stated in the topic title, I'm a noob when it comes to cars. Very shortly, about 2 - 6 weeks, I will be purchasing a 240SX. It will be a manual, it will be the second time I drive a manual car.

What I'm basically trying to say is, is there anyone online right now that'd be willing to chat with me for an hour or so?

Just so I can gain some knowledge. My AIM is ThaKid8787.

Any help is appreciated.

easy,

1.) clutch in when you start.

2.) clutch still in, select gear

3.) let off cluctch slowy, while giving the car gas at the same time. should be the same amount for each pedal.

4.) your in gear, shift to next gear, clutch in, select gear. repeat 3.

taking turns

clutch in, usually you take intersection turns in second...but thats just me.

thats it.....easy

takes some time to get used too.

post if any problems

Best way is to get out and do it on your own. My mom (haha, couldn't find time with dad) tried to teach me and I couldn't get it with her. I took it out one afternoon alone and after about 30 minutes I got the hang of it.

Don't go back to an auto though...drove grandma's car and wasn't thinking about it and went to hit the clutch with my left foot, but really it was the brake :/.
