I'm highly considering buying a 2000 Impreza 2.5RS in exchange for my '93 240sx Coupe.

:(

Its a pity theres no Turbocharged version of that Impreza (here at least). Maybe I'll turbo it later or something.

I don't think you're a traitor for getting an Impreza. Those are sweet cars. How much do you think you could get an '00 RS for?

Wow! I don't know, if your S13 is in decent shape I would hang on to it for quite a while longer. Taking on 12-13k of debt, not to mention the insurance, might not be a good thing. Plus, 240sx's don't have high resale values...except on NICO :)

I make enough money to support it, and if I get this new job, I'll be able to pay it off early ;)

Well take out a loan, get it fixed and get a new motor for it. Would cost less than getting a new car and would still whoop its *** :). But only if its practicle. Where are you located anyways? No WRX's out there?

Actually the GC8 2.5RS stock for stock outruns the 240 in ever aspect. It's better than the WRX in my opinion as a tuning platform.

Heheh, I kinda wanna switch it up, my 240 got utterly destroyed last night by a BMW 5 series, I've never lost so badly... and it was on a road I drive EVERY NIGHT!

Aw, c'mon you're not dirty.....Ahem, actually you're not a traitor either, just thought I'd take the cheap shot. 2.5RS is a nice car. My neighbor bought his 2.5RS new and loves it. It's reliable, fun to drive, roomy, plus AWD to boot. Of course his is stock. If you can get beyond the 2.5RS' bland looks, it's a really nice car to own.

I know the road quite well, and I know how to drive my car pretty well... his car just had so much power it was overwhelming, and it grabbed the road incredibly well.

Maybe if my rear shocks were a little lighter I could have pushed it more, but oh well :(
