You know its funny the last HG50 presidents with the new LCD screens, look so modern..
If you took a 1990 and put the new style president interior (lcd dash wood etc) they would look like a new car..
Amazing a 15 year old car can look just as modern as new cars, with a simple change of dash components. Really says alot about the G50s sexy curvy dash layout

The trims would look oh so pimp on your Q... The 94+ is all about luxury.. The chrome pillar trims would really bring out the luxury even more... very jaguar, YEA BABY

I love the red/black two tone seats and door panels... I would love to perform this swap on my soon to come black interior.. However it would be nearly impossible to have the seats and panels shipped to the United States.. having someone here redoing the seats in two tone and the panels, would be outrageously expensive, and probably wouldn't end up as good as those look.

The updated President interior is awesome
It has a real nice screen that takes up the entire area of the old bose unit. It also has tvs that pop out of the headliner. The passanger seat folds down so the rear seat occupant can use the front passanger seat as a footrest.
Also the middle console is massive, and has a screen in it as well.
Alsoc heck out out the rear door panels. They are different. They have speakers and ashtrays.

Yep, looks like the President dash I reversed (notice the needle position in the guages).

I think I remember someone saying they had to ship the JDM Q45s to the US, then ship them back to Japan, before they could sell them. Some whacky import regulation, dunno if its true..
The president has always been the mega ballin limo transport.. Of course because JDM cars are 100% superior to American cars, their "limo" is a high performance RWD sedan with a great V8..

Well, basically.. they just like taking our money..
The Japanese are very cented upon themselves.. They have survived throughout history, by relying basically upon themselves..
Here is a good example.
They are facing a decline in their population. Their "baby boomers" are ageing, and they simply don't have enough nurses to handle all the incoming ageing people. The Phillipines as well as some other countries, have plenty of qualified nurses, and have offered to send them to assist in this matter. Japan simply doesn't like foreigners, they have only issued something like 50,000 foreign visas in 20 years. On top of of that if you're a Korean, born in Japan, you arn't even granted citizenship. They really don't like Koreans, or any foreigners.. Luckily we have hollywood, so they don't mind American Gaijins too much
Anyway, back to the nursing story.. They flat out rejected the offers from the other countries.. One of their "solutions" was to invent a human washing machine, I kid you not.. I don't have the link anymore, but basically its a car wash for humans.
You get inside this thing, and it has port holes on both sides, where the nurses can put their hands in to wash you.
This should give you some idea of the mentality of the Japanese..

Damnit, if only we could import these... It may not be that difficult. Since they are basically the same as the G50, I wonder what the crash testing requirements from the DOT would be... With skylines they had to modify them to pass safety, but since the G50 was sold here, and the president isn't that different, I wonder how difficult it would be..
