I just drove my sr implanted 91 240sx and if i didnt have you guys and my favorite search button i wouldnt have been able to be the happiest i ever have driving a car (ive been driving a really slow 2002 elantra). i want to thank everyone for making me so happy! i drove it w/ hicas disconnected and w/o power steering hooked up and i think im in love with my car. it was way more than i expected, i never thought itd be getting boost at 2500...

oh jeez i cant explain how crazy it is. the fastest car i drove before my 240 was my dads 99 5spd v6 camry and now he wants to get a 350z b/c hes jealous

same can be said for you, think you need to clip that speed limiter so you can atleast have a higher top speed than the AMX:D

Search Google - 390 cubic-inch oldschool musclecar, based on the Javelin platform, built by American Motors Corporation, which was a derivation of (I think) the Kaiser-Fraisier Corp, as well as Willys, they later bought Jeep (and for a short time owned Harley-Davidson) and then went belly-up.

Sadly the AMX was only built from 1968-1970. In 1971 it became an option package for the Javelin. The last car to be badged with the AMX insignia was the AMC Spirit AMX in 1979. The AMX had the 360, and 390 engine (cant remember if it had any others) AMX stood for American Motors Experimental Just a few facts. Also the real AMX was shorter than the Javelin and the body lines were different.
