Well before I start this thread, all I will say is

FLAME SUITE>>>> ENGAGED

Well I left my s13 in pensacola fl when my sr putting out 330whp locked up due to very unlucky circumstances. Well I've been living in jacksonville for several months, missing my s13 and paying storage fees, well SHE WILL BE MISSED NO MORE

I decided no explanation is necessary

Well I've always said I Liked s13s better than my 350z, but no one believed me. Well I'm happy to have my sexy13 home, now I can start the process of building her back up.

I'd put this in the Z forum side, but they will flame me more then you guys, I think. On a good note, i'd like to say that the z did better than any truck could have on that trip. 5.5hrs with an empty trailer @70 mph I got 30-31mpg, and with the s13 and 400 pounds of tools and an engine lift in the trunk of it, @ 80mph the z got 17-20mpg. Its astonishing, and not only am I happy to have my true drift car back, I also have much greater feelings for my beautiful Z

And the only catastrophe:

My back bumper hit one of those annoying reflectors in the middle of the road, so now I need a new back bumper.

The first thing I thought when I saw her up on the dolly was "I can totally see that back bumper cover biting it". But your car is clean as can be. Good luck on the build!

Sorry about the bad luck with the rear bumper.

But it's kind of awesome how dedicated you are for the 240!

Thanks, yeah I put it on the dolly and was like its already 11pm, and I won't get to JAX until like 5-6ish and the dolly had to be back b4 uhaul opened and if I woulda pulled the s13 off to readjust the stances, it would put me way behind schedule. So the bumper took one for the team. It was knock off origin and the side skirts were already trashed from an exhaust incident on a road trip to pennsylvania, so I'm going to replace it with all new origin eventually, plus it was molded on, and i'm not really liking a molded on kit on a drift car.

And thanks, I'll be sure to make A build thread when the assets come my way to swap out the SR

Haha isn't it though, I love the 350z, its a wonderful daily with AC and a modern interior but when it comes to speed the Z has nothing, and they are ultra expensive to build, and honestly, I really don't like the way the z slides, I mean its fun, but its just not a light s13 with tons of power.

uhaul let you rent a tow dolly knowing that you would be pulling a car with a z? wow, someone could lose their job for that.

I know you stated you were pressed for time, but I would've scheduled accordingly so the rear bumper could've been removed. Nice pics, and congrats!

no, but there's a tow rating on the hitch. if that's even a class 2, i'd be surprised. like i said, whoever processed that transaction and hooked up that trailer shouldn't have a job. that's just unsafe.

I thought you were suppose to tow the 240 backwards... ie front wheels on the ground and back wheels lifted.

If I'm not mistaken, you only have to worry about towing RWD cars from the front if they are autotragics unless its one of those weird a** dual pump autos....since nothing is driving the pump with the engine off, it would be spinning dry.

Ha ah thats sick. I was def surprised how well it towed, it rode better with the trailer than the 2010 frontier I test drove 2 weeks ago that was empty. It also stopped better. I hate the way trucks feel.

Also I told u-haul I was coming back after hours with a Chevy 2500hd silverado, because they wouldn't even let me take it off the lot with the z. If something would have happened I would have gotten financially screwed from u-haul, but oh well, I took a chance based on well calculated plans and it worked. I'm not saying HEY GO BUY A Z TO TOW i'm just posting this up for simply entertainment. All in all it was a good weekend though.

I think covering plates is a good tactic when posting online. Especially in your case...

i think its funny when people cover their plates. if somebody wanted they could figure out it was your car.. and where you lived from your profile usually

Its all good bout the thread jack, I thought it was a creative way of getting a front clip home.

I'd pull my 240 with my z again also, I'm not 21 and i'm thousands of miles from home so I don't know anyone to rent a vehicle for me, so I worked.

I was surprised they let me pick it up after hours.

you not 21 and you have those 2 cars lol lucky

i was trying to rent a truck, and the only place that would rent me a truck with a hitch was uhaul and they would only rent me a box van, so it would have been a fortune to rent. that was when i towed my wrecked car home though, different than the trailer incident above
