I've loved the M sine its debut. I was able to purchase my M37S and it has been a great car with 75k miles on it. I love it.

But I am wanting to upgrade. While I like the Q70 I feel it needs a upgraded interior and am sure the next model will be a complete redesign. Anyways I would consider the right upgrade to a Q70s 5.6, However They are non existent as new or used cars within 1,000 miles of me. Is infiniti phasing them out?

I stopped by the Caddy dealer where I purchased my previous CTS-Voupe. The CTS Vsport is equivalent to the Q70S 5.6. The CTS has a modern interior fresh sleek look. and 420hp with the TTV6.

Other options,
BMW 550 M-Sport, Not thrilled with the drive
Mercedes CLS550, Hard car to find with options for the price.

While I love my infiniti, I may jump back to Cadillac for a while.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

BMW M4. Sexy car IMO. Since you mentioned the BMW brand. Definitely buy used though. The BMW really depreciates big time.

The Q70 5.6's are out there, but you may have to travel or have it shipped, which is no big deal if you know what you want. I bought my 2012 M56x from Carmax just by looking at the pictures. With that said, I like the V-sport too, but I would look at the 6.2L 550 hp version...something about the big V8.

It took me 6 months to find my M56 . They just don't build a lot of them a lot of people are satisfied with the power of the V6. For me the M is the best value for this type of car that has awd and is usually cheaper cost of ownership than its competitors besides Lexus

All the cars you mentioned though are a bad idea to buy new. They all depreciate fast. Not sure about the newest Caddies but the infotainment system and transmission get horrible reviews . I heard many reviewers say the love the Cts v but don't buy it because it's that annoying . So definitely check one out in person before buying

I'm biased to the Japanese so maybe a ISF F. Or GS F . The IS Fs hold value like crazy I imagine the gs will too if buying new I would consider a Lexus .
The Mercedes is a beauty though and of the Germans your best bet reliability wise

I just drove in a 750il this weekend and it was absolutely amazing. Great performance and feels like you're driving on clouds. The interior is crazy

I wash I could swing a new car in this league but $70k is not good for me...
Im looking at 14-16 model years with a max of $42k
The CTS I found is a 15 with 20k for 41,9XX
I am familiar with GM Transmissions and can deal with their quirks that most complain about. (And I have been known to tune the TCM)
The Caddy Infotainment system was good with me, it pretty high tech (or looks to be) but I can adapt to that.

Ive had a 2012 CTS Voupe that was a blast to drive. and If timing was right a new CTS V would be possible. but for now the mid level performance rides is where Im going to end up.

Ive made contact with a dealer about 6 hours south of me who has the exact CTS I like. we are working on the numbers but right now we are $4k away from making the deal a reality.

I saw this M56 on Beepi the other day:

If it was black, I would be tempted. I pretty much never see Q70 5.6. I don't think they sold very many of them. I do love the Q70L though.

I've searched for Q70 5.6s and haven't seen any.

My beloved 2012 M56S was totaled in February of this year. I searched for months trying to find a Q70S, and all I found was tan interiors. :barf:

Other options were:
(Newly redesigned) Hyundai Genesis 5.0. No driving excitement.
Lexus GS350 F Sport. Too slow.
(Same as you) BMW 550 M-Sport. Way overpriced when well-equipped.
Cadillac CTS V-Sport Premium.

I bought the V-Sport Premium. Found a 2014 with 4,184 miles, one owner. The car is fast, handles like a champ, and has plenty of tech.

If you have any questions about the car, I would be happy to help.

I would be heartbroken if my car got totaled, i feel like trying to find a replacement would be nearly impossible. I constantly look for v8 m's/q's for sale and the ones with the best options and colors imo just seem to be few and far between. I hate tan interiors with an absolute passion. I don't think that you truly love your m37s lol, But if I absolutely had to pick another right now it'd probably be the isf, even though it's a notch pricier than the m. I don't care that much about having the newest model of car out, led's, the most updated interior materials, panoramic roofs, and all the other stuff infiniti has been late on.

Bought a Cadillac CTS from Auto Nation. My wife made me return it 2 days later and got my money back because the electronics and entertainment system is too complex and annoying

Did she actually RTFM, or is she like mine and "keep pressing buttons until something happens". Lol

You didn't specify which year and trim level you had, but it has been my experience that most everything can be done from the steering wheel controls and via voice command. Further, with the configurable HUD you don't even need to take your eyes off of the road.

I saw the 2014, which looks identical inside and out to mine for the price of the Cadillac. 15 may interest me
