But I have a problem that I can't figure out. My driver's window is acting up. It will randomly stop working. Usually happens when it is either all the way up, halfway down, or about 90% of the way down. It won't roll up or down. It doesn't make noise. It does nothing. It used to stop, and then I would softly hit the door and it would continue to roll in the direction I wanted it to. But it is to the point now that it won't work at all, even after several minutes of me hitting the door rather hard. The motor is only a couple of months old and is of higher quality than the rest. I originally thought it was a loose connection, so I checked all the connections and even the wires leading into the adapters; they were all in check. My regulator is in good condition. My dad read something about the safety switch that stops the window from rolling up, but he couldn't find the page again. I'm at a loss for any answers and thus I have turned here. Can someone please help?

Thanks,

Chowder

P.S. This is the second or third motor I have put in this door, I've lost count.

Welcome to NICO!!!

Do you have the right voltage going to the motor? Have you checked? Too much will cause a burn out.

I was completely unaware that something like that was possible. I was under the assumption that since I bought the motor made specifically for my car, all the specifications would be correct. How would you determine such a thing?
