i was driving around today around 730pm, nice and cool outside, no sun in my face....i had just installed my jdm gauge cluster, and as i was driving i realized that i really love my car. its like a statement of what i have accomplished. when i had my interview at nissan to sell cars, the guy asked me what my greatest accomplishment is, and i said my car is. money, time, some blood, and im very happy with where its at now. and the best part is that i can pull up to a nice honda bowl of rice and as soon as they hear the bov, they dont even look at me anymore, its great. just wanted to let everyone know that my car is tight fo sho.

Good stuff, I hope to also achieve that feeling one day....although some small voice inside tells me it won't be my 89 accord lxi that will give it to me ;-)

I know I could have all sorts of fun with an 89 accord. Iwouldn't be good for the car though. :D

I'll keep an eye out if you feel like coming to Tennessee. I know there was a nice 95 se 5 speed for 4800 a few weeks ago.

What's wrong with loving your car?

I mean sure, my car is still mostly stock, and has its problems, but I still love it. I'll always remember this 240 as the car that I learned everything I know from. I love the stylish looks. I love the way it handles in turns, with the real go-kart feel to it. I especially love the RWD. But most of all, I know that my car is an expression of myself, tuned to exactly how I like it (with cost restraints in place as they may be.)

So I guess you could say I love my car also. Call me weird if you will, but I do. :)

I know what you are talking about concerning your car. But mine is to a different degree, a different angle.

I love driving my 240sx, just love throwing her through her gears, and zippin around town. The reason I love the car so much is because had I not bought it, right now it would have been more than likely crushed at a scrap yard.

It was left to rot on a property when I rescued it, had been siting there for 1 1/2 years. I got it, did some work on it and she now is able to drive around the streets again. The body isn't in the best of shape, but mechancially shes strong.

I think I may jsut get a professional paint job done on her later next year, shes well worthy of it.

you dont need to have a BOV to appreciate your car, guys hate to break it to you, but a sr doesnt make your car complete. 240's are great cars just the way they are!

Agree, some people think that when they have SR DET or super loud BOV they can just beat anything on the street.

im not sayn an SR or BOV makes me "special" or anything, they add a good touch to it, and the 240's are great 100% stock
