So the Subaru is gone. Time to come back to the chrome burger. The Subie had a lot of problems from being heavily modified, and I am tired of it. I want something that I don't have to tinker with, is quiet, has a good stereo, fun to drive with good gas mileage. The day I saw this, I wanted one. So This is what I picked up. Sorry for the crappy cell phone pic, it's raining hard, and I don't want to get wet.

Before anyone asks, no, this will not be modified. None. At. All. I want a car, not a project.

I really liked the Juke when I test drove one. It was quick and nimble in traffic and I knew we weren't going to be getting thank you notes from the local gas stations. In the end we needed the extra power and space the Xterra had to offer so we kept it.

You pick up the FWD manual or the AWD CVT?

So now you have both of Nissan's bastard children! I kid, I kid, I love the Juke. Is it M/T or CVT?

I was wondering WTF you meant by that. Then I realized this morning, I always park in the handicapped spot. It's the closest to the door. :mike

jukester ftw

Clutch, brakes, 30k service, struts, #3 cylinder failed the leakdown test (broken ringland) so yeah, tuned to 19 psi in a car made to handle 13 psi and spiking boost at 25+ psi, makes for a broked'd car.

I will say, the Juke is about the easiest car I have ever driven. The clutch is retarded easy. I'm used to a heavy pressure plate, and this is like a 5lb plate. I am more satisfied with this car purchase than any other car purchase that I have ever had.

Ouch, sounds like a bad case of boost creep.

No, it was more a case of too lazy to downshift. There is a big hill by my house. I would usually hit it in 4th, and should have downshifted into 3rd. I overboosted in higher gears at low RPM's more often than I should have.

Nice! I've been thinking about one of these HARD. I'm gonna wait a couple of years to see if there is any bugs with the new motor and if they seem to be a good platform, pick up a used one.

From the title, I expected this thread to be about leaving a fine dining restaurant to work at Burger King.

I sat in one the other day, and I actually liked the interior quite a bit. I also got in the back to see what all the fatties are complaining about... I fit fine back there.
