I learned how to do a 360 today!

well, i have seen stunt drivers do a really cool 360 before, and today my roomate and I took our 240's out to a really big parking lot and fooled around. i visuallized the 360, and then did it the 2nd try! i even kept some of my momentum! its so cool when you do it. ok heres how: turn in hard and slide the tail (i used the ebrake) then wait until you are almost backwards and turn the steering wheel in the opposite direction you used to turn in. the car will catch the front wheels and rocket back to facing the front. try to keep up with the car's turn and return the front wheels to facing straight forward. drive on like nothing happened. haha it was so fun! make sure if you try this you are in a very wide open area as you may end up going a direction you didnt think you would. my roomie and i went to texas motor speedway parking lot. they dont seem like they care when were up there, people who worked there where driving on the road and saw us, and didnt do anything. my roomate has a silvia front end conversion and an RB25, and im stuck with my stock car. but im the one doing 360's!

oh, and we did alot of drifting practice too. we almost tried tandum but i dont think he was comfortable with it. just so this is a drift related topic...

Cool!

You should try doing it in the rain, you can get a little more than a 360, per say.......720? I have done two spins once! Its extremely difficult unless you have mucho speed and momentum built up, after you get out of the second spin try getting into another drift. you can work alot with the rain if your tires are willing to do it too.

I drift in the rain alot to save my tires.

hey sparrow, im pretty sure i can get some people together one of these weekends and we can all go drifting together sometime. just shoot me an email at [email protected] when youre in dallas next.

kansei: haha! you just gave me a new goal! 720! ill give it a try even though my car's suspension is stock and my tires are ghey. i also tend to do alot of drifting in the rain, since im poor and cant afford new tires. (well, i havent bought a single set of tires for my 240 since i owned it, ive always gotten free used tires from goodyear or discount.)
