I'm so tired, I can't see out of one eye.

I started putting Jay's SR together last night, but had to stop at the head because I was unsure if the headgasket he had was going to work right. He has an S14 headgasket and an S13 block. The extra hole for the VTC half hangs out of the block/head and I didn't want to put it all together without his Ok on it so if it leaks oil through there, it's all on him.

not from my dog, my parents' garage. their neighbor's cats got in there and infested the place with fleas. just by walking in there, you are almost guaranteed to walk out with at least a couple on you. it's teh gay.

I know that an S13 head fits on an S14 block ok (because I've done it), so I would imagine there's no problem with either head gasket being used.

I just got off the phone with Jay. We shoudl be fine. I was just worried because the gasket material itself didn't bridge teh gap between the VTC oil channel and the oil return galley. However, there are orange o-rings around each, so we should be fine. I just wanted his Ok instead of slapping it together and having him look at it down the road and have me take the head back off cause it looked funky to him too.
