Replace the cable first, smart guy. Don't skip steps! You're the one who said the cable was faulty, do it right! For once don't follow the standard 240 cheap-*** method and get it all done the way you would expect a professional to do it!

Also, Wal-Mart will probably just charge the battery you get from the junkyard and send you packing. Once again you are doing it wrong!
LOL - I consider myself smart for the most part!! And no, the cable wasn't faulty, the connector to the post was just a bit deteriorated.

And I know its good because I grabbed it off the shelf and took it home to set on trickle charge for a few hours. . .

And I'm honestly done with cheaping out. I figured if I've already put X amount of money into it, it won't hurt to get it quality grade and right the first time!!

Well, since you say the cables are good, then go solder a new one on, don't get a cheapo bolt-on lug. Or replace it all the way back to the chassis ground at least. From what I know, that's how the sealer would do it.

Wait-when you said "warranty" and "Wal-Mart", were you talking about the alternator? or you already did the whole battery fiasco?

warranty on the battery - i plan to run odyssey when i get my finances settled down and go to a swap. With a engine. With no leaks.

Figured I'd tell you that so you know I don't plan to always run a cheap duralast battery

It's cold, that's for sure.

And it's going to snow like crazy in about 3 hours.

I could use a little snow here. I'm sick of AZ's always sunny weather. It's too bright and hurts my eyes.

Sunglasses help, and they make most people look cool. Unless you are ugly.

I actually do really like the look of that. I was thinking about fabbing up a roll cage like that one. it looks really good. But those fender flares are apparently expensive as hell. I read a deal on that Miata and those fender flares are uber rare and uber expensive. but I love the look of it.

I need some advice on wheels though. Black wheels w/ green calipers? Or green wheels w/ black calipers?
