I don't drink myself drunk just because me and a girl "only hugged" but if anyone else does, I feel sorry for them.

So, I think there's some engineers in my midst. I was hunting around the industrial junkyard today and found something I liked.

It was about 12" tall by 9" wide by 4" deep. Had 2 knobs and a horizontal meter. Readings for temperature. One knob controlled one needle, not sure what the other one controlled.

Had a couple of ports at the bottom. One was empty, the other had a thermocouple hanging out. What was interesting was that even though it had no power going to it, when I heated the thermocouple with my hand, it read on the meter.

Anyway, there were 3 or so of them there. I left them today, but can anybody think of a use for them so that I've got an excuse to go buy them? I want them, but I don't want them laying around without a project to utilize them for in the unknown future.
