That sounds like a whole load of fun.Dattebayo wrote: puking blood.
Um, if they're not sure it's for them then they're stupider than everyone. I'm sending it to the FEEDBACK EMAIL. For Feedback. And I start of by saying it's feedback. I'm not going to send it to some random dude hoping it makes it's way to the right people. And I'm not going to not make my point just so it's easy to read. If that's too hard for them to read, my entire point is proven.Rare_f8 wrote:

Imagine this. You are busy. You receive this letter that you are not entirely sure it's related to you. It's full of text. Are you likely to read it?
Nope. They are un-crossable. There are signs at regular intervals saying "DO NOT CROSS DOUBLE WHITE LINE." There's also a radio ad playing now talking about these exact new Davis County HOV lanes stating that you CANNOT leave or enter the HOV lane except where the line is broken (dotted).Dattebayo wrote:That's great, MoD, but you should understand that double-white lines are not un-crossable. It is only DOUBLE-YELLOW lines that you may not cross. The double-white lines are the soft version of the yellow ones, meaning crossing is allowed, but they are there only to let you know there is some kind of "legal" barrier.
Sorry, but that is a major problem with your letter.
Just saying if you want something done and more people to read it. The shorter the better. To the point that is.MinisterofDOOM wrote:Um, if they're not sure it's for them then they're stupider than everyone. I'm sending it to the FEEDBACK EMAIL. For Feedback. My sound is uncopypastable. Teh boobzorz aren't here just yet. We gotta wait for Marenta to bring them to us. Unless you wanna check out the Jail bait thread. ****'s freaking hot. Even though in one of the recent posts somebody went way too far...posting CP...that was just wrong, but other than that, page 3 has some hot chicks on it.DrifterXRPS13 wrote:GIRR!! i wish i knew how to type out that sound that he makes! it's teh best! so what up everyone, what's going on, where are teh bewbs!
Oh, I see your point. But I also need to make mine. This letter is the culmination of a lifetime of frustrations with the supreme morons at UDOT. They NEED someone with a brain to tell them how things work. It's quite clear that no one in charge of these things ever actually drives on the roads.Rare_f8 wrote:

Just how it works. They only get what they need to get done and cut out the rest. You are unknown and the letter is too long and I got other things more important to do...Um.. pass.... it's not stupidity... it's psychology of human thinking.. ... face it we are lazy...
Actually, I just did a US wide search on the law, and there isn't any statute for double white at all. In fact, I believe anyone who gets caught in that trap you described there may be able to get off a ticket pretty easily. I'm meeting with the lawyer to sign some papers for work in a little bit, I'll ask him since that sort of thing is within his knowledge. Sometimes it's good to work for a corporation.MinisterofDOOM wrote:That's a state-wide thing.
He shoulda sold it to someone locally so they would not sell it too far away... I would never be able to find my old S13 if I tried. I probably wouldn't recognise it. Found it on autotrader for sale and is probably going to drive to go pick it up.
