as for the pedal ya lol ill post up a pick of it. It wears out my head and it eventually just gets really soft, and thin then tears thru it.

ohh on the tom its not the big tom

That's a highly irregular set arrangement. Why the heck did you do that?

I hate to be a jackass and I'm sorry, but that's a kiddie set.

The kind of hardware you have is why you are breaking heads.

A double pedal already has to be higher quality just to work, so don't worry about that. You cannot buy a drum set that plays and holds tune well NEW for under $1000. I suggest getting a used Pearl Export series and building it up with at least two crashes, a splash and a 22" ride.

Zildjian is the best for cymbals, but Sabian still sound great and don't cost nearly as much. They just don't have the same durability as Zildjian tho. If you can afford Paiste then by all means get them, but that stuff is really for professionals, not everyday drummers. You know what I mean?

the sounds pretty good if i had a good cam id snap a vid but dont got a good cam. For now it should do. Current cymbals are B8 crash ride , crash , and 13 in high hat

ive replaced my snare head with a evan sounds a hell of alot better then before

also i understand on the better quality kit you get what you pay for right . I got the kit on sale it wasnt msrp also . they had the exact same one next to it for 1k idk it was the same setup ..

This is the same kit and color I am running, minus the rolo-toms on the left, minus 6 cymbals and minus 1 tom.

It's a ELX in Green Fade. The last year they made them, too. Sounds great in the studio, but crappy on stage. I haven't figured out why. Oh well.

I wanna learn how to play an instrument. Either the piano, or the guitar.

Piano gets the panties wet, while the guitar gets them taken off.

I really want to learn to play the violin. I think the violin is way too loud to practice in an apartment without pissing people off, though. I play the guitar but haven't really picked it up in quite a while.

Never would have thought you'd like the violin. It's a nice instrument, and I've sorta wanted to play it, but the bad notes that are played on it give me the willys!

I actually own a violin, I just haven't gotten around to taking lessons yet.

It's the greatest instrument ever created IMO. Sounds amazing. Very powerful.

I've always wanted to pick up either the piano or violin too. I still could be better at guitar though, so I should probably keep focusing on that.

Yet another reason I need to buy a house, then.Let's see the list so far:

1: Owning instead of renting2: No shared walls with neighbors3: No management rules4: Garage or carport5: Yard6: Can learn to play the violin (poorly) without bothering anyone7: Can make lots of noise8: Can house multiple vehicles in yard (redneck garden!)

Gah. I need a house. Just a tiny one.

You would also have a basement to drag your drugged out whores to so you can chain them up for safekeeping. Or at least Jon can if he ever stops by.

The main thing for me is not having to keep the noise down at odd ends of the night. I stay up late in a house I dont have to worry much about keeping everyone else up with me.

i might be a redneck at heart because my parents hate it when ever i park my car on the lawn or a friends cars lol. but i love it haha

and playing the violins fun once you get passed the part of playing quietly , and you start getting better playing loud really helps the violin wasnt meant to be quiet.

ode to joy was a good song i learned in the 7th grade only parts of it not the whole thing. Its alot of scales work on your fingers too.

aight im out to get some rest . see you cats later

That's definitely one of the biggest for me since I'm nocturnal. It'd be nice to be able to act normally at night instead of always being in quiet mode. And, alternatively, it'd be nice to have real quiet during the day instead of my idiot neighbors upstairs doing who-knows-what pounding and thumping and slamming and banging and crashing and a bunch of other loud things on a regular basis.

Oh, I definitely wouldn't park on the lawn. I'd put down paving stones or something. If you park on the lawn you end up with nasty mud instead of lawn. That and I can't stand the sight of a car parked on grass. Don't people notice the stuff that drips off their cars? Yeah, that crap ain't fertilizer.
