So I don't honestly have much pictures of it just yet because I've been focused on cleaning it up and doing maintenance.
That was the hks replica exhast that I sold in the corner... I went back to stock exhaust and kept the test pipes, i'm also planning on using the hr y pipe as I already have one set aside.
Below is a 150k mile vq engine bay that has yet to be cleaned but it is on the list.
The car came with a few surprises under the hood, plenum spacer, z tube for g35s, 75mm throttle body adapter (apparently the spacer and the adapter combo makes it so the tb hits the hood and the previous owner took it upon themselves to simply cut the hood... after destroying the hinges
hochkis sway bars, tein s tech lowering springs aside from that it's got nav...
I've so far bled the brakes, swapped out the clutch master and slave along with adding a SS clutch line (boy is that clip a pita) de-badged the autozone G35 emblems the owner put on it..
and then found out that they wired in some ebay h.i.d.'s where the fog lights were so thats why they aren't working...
(this is a video)
Ended up ordering a new headlight harness for it to solve that wiring nightmare, also had to replace a washer pump motor because i'm guessing they killed that too.. the corner marker lights were ebay led's with water and about a foot of wiring in them.. so I ordered some new ones as well....
Overall this car has its fair share of
but it also has some redeeming qualities, and I got it for cheap so i'm not upset.
My plan is to fix it, drive it, and just gently show it what it's like to be loved.
How she's sitting currently:
What's left is now to replace all the heater hoses, going to do an alignment and replace the front tires tomorrow, and then just drive it for a bit and see how she feels.
