To be honest, that is one of the dumbest installs I've ever seen. Whoever paid for that has far more money than brains. The iPad would make a terrible carpc. And then, to run it through and insanely expensive mcintosh amp (eff you iPad for trying to correct that to macintosh) is just pure idiocy. Also, why put the wifi only iPad in a car? Good luck using pandora while driving. Also, it looks like they just put an ipad in the dash. If you're going custom, at least build the dash around the iPad screen and conceal the rather large bezel.

Isn't it basically a crippled carputer? I just don't get it. I associate mcintosh with high quality audio devices. I generally associate apple products with easy to use devices for simpletons. Those two don't generally have the same goal.

As for the blown up itouch, you should see reading magazines on this thing. Zinio looks solid for automotive mags.
