I'm going to start ignoring these busted a** vehicle posts. I suggest everyone else start doing it as well so he will learn to stop looking at unworthy, headache filled POS.King Ranzo wrote:How hard is it to replace a head gasket?
EDIT: This is why I am asking.

FWIW, there are worse things than driving an automatic. I'm not gonna give you any s***, (because I would take everyone else's fun ) but I would really suggest to keep driving what you have and save your money for something really fantastic. I drove some POS monstrosities in my day before I bought the Frontier. It ain't the end of the world.King Ranzo wrote:
Yeah...I'm gonna keep on searchin'. I found a different Jetta today that was in good condish for 800 bucks. Sadly, when I called, it was already sold. Oh well. I'm gonna continue my search until I find something that is a great deal and hasn't been sold yet. I just REALLY don't wanna drive an automatic anymore. I feel like I have more control over the car when I'm driving a stick. Plus -automatics just shift at all the wrong times and I have no way to down-shift or up-shift if I need to.
beggars cant be choosers dude. just drive what you have until you can afford to buy the car you want on your own.King Ranzo wrote: I just REALLY don't wanna drive an automatic anymore. No. I just don't like the looks of it. Never have driven one, rode in one, or worked on one.AZ89two4Tsx wrote:Bad experience?
Well see, the thing is, I kind of don't have a car. It's really my mom's car now because her car got repossessed months ago, so we've basically been sharing it. So I'm really trying to look for a steal of a deal on a car. Jettas and 200sxs/Sentras have been pretty cheap and in good condition so I'm gonna keep my eye out. I'm looking for both transportation and something I can do a few things to. Nothing major like a turbo or anything. Just a few little mods to make it look nice.nissangirl74 wrote:

Oh calm down KayVee. I'm just asking questions. I'm not gonna buy that Jetta. I just post and ask questions. If it really bothers you guys that much, I wont post links unless I have a serious and honest question (like the head gasket question). Of course I don't exactly need to post the link...all I really have to do is just ask the question. I think I'll stick to just asking questions then.krimsonviper wrote:

Yeah I know. I'm definitely not gonna buy a piece of sh*t. I just look at fuxord up cars from a different perspective sometimes. Sometimes that perspective is retarded. I'm honestly not gonna buy a car with a blown head gasket or a missing front end. I'm gonna buy something that is completely together, has under 200k miles, has been maintained well, and has a manual transmission. I do look for certain things and I hope to get what I look for in a car. If I play my cards right, something will come up that's perfect and I will be able to seize the opportunity and end up with something great. Well, I'm gonna head off to bed now guys. I'll see you guys tomorrow. Night.AZ89two4Tsx wrote:I wouldn't mind having an automatic at times.
It all depends on the car.
But as stated earlier, don't buy a pos. Get something decent. ALL THE CARS YOU POST ARE POS's.
I would never buy a car with a blown headgasket unless I had intentions of replacing the whole motor.
This is none of my business and if I'm way out of line here, feel free to say so. If your money situation is so tight that your mom's car got repossessed, you should try to find a way to make some money instead of borrowing more. It might be hard to find a job considering you are sharing a vehicle, but no need to create more bills (insurance for two, gas for two, maintenance for two). Like I said, if I am out of line, I'm sorry. Just the way I see it. (I'll still answer your questions though.)King Ranzo wrote:Well see, the thing is, I kind of don't have a car. I still loves you Gir, I just want you to think higher for yourself. YOU'RE BETTER than those ads man! I don't mind the questions.King Ranzo wrote:Oh calm down KayVee. I'm just asking questions. Yep. Very nice but just not my style. If you like it, go for the swap. To each his own.AZ89two4Tsx wrote:Bex, remember that Z31 at the JCCS?
