Yeah that's what I was thinking. I'm sending him an email right now. Got anything else I should include? Here's what I have so far:

Hi I was wondering about the 318IS you have for sale. I noticed in one of the pictures that the passenger side door panel is missing. Will that be included in the sale or will one need to be bought for the vehicle? When was the last time the clutch was replaced? Has the oil been changed recently?

Sounds good man. I'm in search of a vehicle as well. The wife has limited it to a truck and I might be looking at a diesel now.

Alright here's the email I got back from the guy selling the 318IS

I have a buyers deposit since last week, but I have not been able to reach him by phone, text or email. So I relisted it. I have a couple of people coming by today to see the car. The price has dropped to $1,100. I did sell all of the tan cloth interior trim pcs. The car now comes with the original tan cloth seats. The rear seats and side panels have been swapped to black vinyl. I have found someone in Jupiter that has the front black vinyl dr/pax seats and he has the matching front door panels. They are in excellent condition. All 4 pcs can be had for $200. Mechanically it is sound. The clutch is strong, The car has 5,000 mile oil changes. It runs very nice and the ac is cold. It does need bodywork, paint and rear bumper pcs. Its an $1,100 dollar car. I dont know what people are expecting for $1,100. The car is a daily driver. I have $500 dollars in reciepts that I spent on the car myself. New starter (lifetime warranty), rebuilt alt, new (2) window switches, new control arm bushings, and used tie rod assemblys. I think I'm asking an honest price for an honest car. you can reach me on my cell. 561-758-7218. Let me know....................................G.

Gir, you do not want a 318 BMW. You do not want a BMW period.

318 is slow as balls and eats up gas because they are too heavy for the motor. You don't even like the one you have now. Stop it already.

I'm actually alright with the one I have now. It's pretty roomy and comfortable, I just don't like automatics. I know they have electrical problems which is why they scare me away, but this is a pretty good deal.

Stay away from a 318 unless it's a hatch, and we can't get those in the states.

I'm not joking, I have worked on them before, it sucks.

I'll take your word of advice. What about the 5 speed 528 with no A/C that I posted?
