we should do this at carlisle. like bar games.DrifterXRPS13 wrote:I need to start picking up cougars...they are easy money.
Everyone wants 16 year olds. they just dont want to deal with the penalty of getting caught, I can completely understand that.93coupe wrote:Do not want 16 year old girls.

I think it was Valentine's Day last year (maybe two years ago) and I went out to the bar knowing full well it'd be like shooting fish in a barrel. I don't know that I'd call the chick a cougar, but she told me she was like 33-34 (may have been slightly lower than reality). From the beginning she made it painfully clear what she was looking for that night (honestly, a ~35 year old in a bar filled with 20-somethings). There wasn't a whole lot of action at the bar (tons of sausage) and she was damn good looking for her age, so why not.numbnuts240 wrote:tell me more....

You could give it to your good AV buddy in crime Lou you know...cause he wants a harmony but doesn't want to pay $200+ for it right now..AppleBonker wrote:
In other news, I've got a coupon for 50% a logitech harmony remote, but I already have a harmony one. Should I consider upgrading or buying one to sell it?
Yeah, I had the harmony 880 (bought like 2-3 years ago) and a few months ago the volume up button quit. It was out of warranty, so I went out and got a harmony one. Then, I read an article a month or two ago about someone who had a similar problem with the same remote and Logitech replaced it for free even though it was out of warranty. I called but did not receive the same results, though they did give me a 50% off coupon, which is more than I really expected. Now, I'm thinking about getting the harmony 1100 and RF adapter with IR blasters.marlin29311 wrote:You could give it to your good AV buddy in crime Lou you know...cause he wants a harmony but doesn't want to pay $200+ for it right now..
The only reason I'm considering it is I could buy the remote for $200. Then, I could probably sell my harmony one for maybe $100 since it is only a few months old. At $400 for a remote, you've lost my interest.numbnuts240 wrote:i could never justify buying one for myself.
that thing costs $400? where the f*** is the hole you insert your c*** into for a bj?AppleBonker wrote:

Unfortunately for me, the harmony or similar is pretty much a requirement for my setup. I've got 8 devices that are currently controlled by my harmony one. Even combining some of those on each others/remotes would only reduce it to 4-5 remotes. Far to many for me to use and still keep my sanity.marlin29311 wrote:it would be great to have one remote to rule my 5 devices
If I'm not gonna use it I'll hook you up. But the coupon is only good through the Logitech site, so even the one is $250. Half would still be over a hando.marlin29311 wrote:But if the remote was half price....
Just got a pair of those myself Friday, Dish network FTW. I had one of the cheaper Harmony remotes and i'd rather use the Dish remote...numbnuts240 wrote:i rock a pair of deez

Yup. There aren't too many benefits to that remote over something like the harmony one which can be had for under $200 if you find a good deal. The cheapest harmony remotes are right at the $100 mark. Honestly, until you've used one you probably can't appreciate it. I got my mom one of the cheaper ones for Christmas a few years back. She always needed my help turning on devices to watch a movie. When she opened the package, she kind of gave it the sarcastic "thanks" look. But, I had already programmed it and I told her to turn on a movie. She claimed she didn't know how, but I told her to try to figure it out. Without any instructions or training from me or anyone else, she turned on a movie. At that point, she was sold. Plus, my parents only have a few devices they control. Once I cracked 5/6 devices it was a no brainer for me to spend some $$$ on a good remote.numbnuts240 wrote:that thing costs $400? where the f*** is the hole you insert your c*** into for a bj?
That's actually one of the main reasons why I want to get one...to show my parents/grandparents.AppleBonker wrote:

My mom and sister love it. And I enjoy the fact that I don't get bugged anymore to help change channels and crap (though now I'm a bit too far away to be much help).marlin29311 wrote:That's actually one of the main reasons why I want to get one...to show my parents/grandparents.
I just don't know if I want more of the tablet style remote. It's completely different and requires two hands basically to use. I guess I'll have to pay more attention to how I use my current remote and if it'll be an issue.marlin29311 wrote:Let me know either way...I might even just buy your used One if you are going to get rid of it.
i hate satellite cable with a burning passion. unfortunately it's the best option available for my neighborhoodA33 wrote:Dish network FTW.
i regularly use 2 remotes, one for tv on/off and the cable remote for channels. everything else is video game consoles and all i have to do is switch the input with the tv remote.AppleBonker wrote:
