I was going to post this in the Nala car thread that just got locked. So I guess I'll post it here. I was going to say:

"No, Nala, you need to get you one of these first: Speaking of the old, cheap, Ford."

People that park their cars don't deserve to have them. Give it to me.

WTF is a clutch kick?

So I'm about to speak to a wall and correct it for giving wrong information, but it stumped me a little. It said "I have outdated information like warming up the car before I drive off." now, I thought to myself, " before I stick my foot in my mouth, I should google it." I google it and people are saying you don't have to warm up up to date vehicles. Some say you should, but those people live in freezing climates. I say you have to give it a good 3 mins to properly lubricate the valves, rings, and pistons, but am I just wasting my fuel by idling?

Kicking the clutch to upset your tire's traction to go slippy slidey. :D

Dunno about the warming up to be honest, my engine does need to sit for a few seconds to get everything lubed up and quiet down, but only a few seconds.

I figured with forced induction, it's even more important to get up to proper operating temp before moving to help prevent early detonation.

Meh, as long as I'm not generating a lot of boost it's okay.Car drives like a$$ if it's not warmed up past 150 degrees though, after that it's boost heaven!

You just don't want to peg it wide open throttle until the motor reaches normal temps. The oil is too thick before that and has not properly coated the motor.

Exactly. And with an auto I like to let the trans temp warm up before asking for aggressive shifts, since thick A/T fluid means slower shifts.

The problem with my car, is the mother f**ker doesn't come with a temp gauge. I have to monitor the RPMs and guess how close I am to operating temp.

That's lame. All cars should come with a digital coolant temp readout like the '90s Seville. Tells you coolant temp in degrees, not just some vague and crude temp gauge.

Nope. Scary, isn't it? They honestly should have kept the set up from the 1st gen 3s, mix the new needles into them, and return to the original gauge lighting to the 2004-2006 gauge lights.

I believe the GT version of my car comes with it. I'll get back to you on this.
