never use them for anything more than translating single words. but don't translate each word separately then try and put them together, that won't work either. long story short, wtf were you saying? all i was able to decipher was that you have 3k saved up, should you fix the current motor and do suspension, or put it towards the swap. am i close?

I bet they work better when one of the languages isn't mental (like translating romance languages). I have a feeling spanish/french/italian translations would be more accurate. Unfortunately, I can barely decipher spanish if it's in writing or spoken to me, and I don't know a lick of french.

I do, just not every time. I've got a slight hangover right now. Water, In n Out, and 1500mg of ibuprofen fixed me up though.

it's not...well here we go

i jumped it last week and it started right up and i let it idle because i thought it was gonna die but it didn't so i got in it and tried to back it up but the brakes are so rusted and locked up i had to smash the pedal to move the car.

i moved it back and forth a few times and then put it back in park it was still running but then the rpms dropped to 500 and it wouldn't go above i'd say 3k rpms...

the whole time i thought it was a motor mount issue but now i think it's something internal...i was gonna do a compression test but you kind of need a fully charged battery to do that and it does not have that.

So i'm just stumped on what to do with it...i asked my brother cause it's his car but he just told me do what i want with it, either get it fixed if you feel like it's worth it or sell it and give him the money plus the money i was gonna put into it.

if you don't need a car, start the swap. if you want soemthing to drive around in, throw a used ka in the s14 and build the ls on the side until it's ready to go in. in the meantime, you can change suspension components as you go along.

Well, i have my dads car currently which he gave to me to use when the integra went down. I told him i would give him his car back this weekend cause i'd be pulling the bike out of storage and will be using it as a dd until october or so.

If i rebuild the ka or get used one it'll probably be around the same price range plus i'll be able to drive it here and there if needed.

the ls i will not be building mainly because i do not have anywhere to do the building nor will i have anywhere to store the motor while i do the build as well as i don't want to mess up something i'm gonna be putting a whole lot of money into.

i'm gonna have the motor completely built and assembled and shipped to me as a crate motor...i'll probably pull the motor about a week or two before i actually receive the new motor and start the cleaning of the engine bay, wiring, mounts and trans tunnel modification and whatever else need be.

i have 3k saved right now...i'll probably have 5k saved up by the end of next month and hopefully if i get lucky and can manage wisely have the 10k or so by end of june or sometime in july....but then i still need to get the transmission. lol

i'm not too concerned about that tito...i used to ride in the rain all the time and i actually kind of want to get used to riding in all weather conditions.

back when i first got my bike i would ride it all year round...in the winter in december and january when it was at least 30 or so, i would ride.

Juts so you guys know, Carlisle is not a NICO owned event.

We get a piece of track all the way in the back next to the Interstate but it's inside a much bigger event called the "Performance and Style Show". A lot of people who go there don't even know we exist. It's also full of ricetastic crap and amazing shows of horrible parenting skill.

It will still be fun, just not the most awesome thing you've ever been to in your life. I just wanna clear it up a lil.

in that case, f*** it swap a motor, it's not like it'll prevent you from doing the suspension after it's running.

I am completely aware of this. I'm just excited to meet all of you fookers. And if I have the chance to mock some of those folks you mentioned, well, let's just call it an added bonus.

Yes, but the track area that we do "own" for the days is a very good time. not to mention that will will have all of the lodge rooms booked at the hotel. It is a lot of fun.

Plus you get to look at the local train wrecks that are the people and cars of rural PA.
