Yes the time has finally come for Nala to compose the thread; how to ask a girl to prom? I know prom is in June but now is the time to start thinking of creative ways on asking that special person to an amazing night. Do I cover her car with post-it notes asking her to prom? What do I do? Also is it best to get a limo for just the two of us?

I never asked her out via text, I asked when she was available to talk basically.

im not ugly. Im a 5'8 male, muscle, not fat, ripped, little to no acne, and not so much as of a looser as i have been. this year I now actually hang out in the cafeteria with the "cool" people as well as outside of school. Before it was browsing nico in the computer lab

All right im bumping this for the belief of good reason.

People are starting to ask people to prom.The girl I like, is more of an acquaintance with me. I plan to ask her this week of next week.

Now I know NICO has said to ask her in person, with just a simple question but that is NOT how people have done it at my school, and I believe it may be best to do it with more creativity since it may lessen her chances of saying no.

Now with that being said I have a couple of ideas.

One: Decorating her car and writing with window paint: Prom? - MY NAME

Two: Showing up at her house, putting a bouquet of roses on her door step, writing PROM? on my windshield (everyone knows my car), ringing the door bell, and hiding in the woods with a bunch of friends (less creepy).

Three: The school is set up so that the senior section of the cafeteria faces the road in which everyone drives up through to park. That being said, she always sits by the window. I was thinking of driving up, writing PROM on my windshield, blast music that has some relation to romance (NE-YO go on girl, love hurts etc) stepping out with a bouquet of flowers, and looking at her. This is my most favored one. I will have my friends in the cafeteria tell her to turn around and look at my car. She and her friends will probably think its really cute as well.

Suggestions. PLEASE take this seriously (I know this is a long thread).

Im leaning more towards three because I think 2 is kinda of creepy showing up at her house. Three seems to be very creative, and people will be like awww, thats so cute.

Having 10 kids or more over and have everyone hide in the basement (party room) and they all know (and her friends) that im asking her to prom. She gets the invite to my "party" and she goes downstairs and im there holding a sign that says: prom? and everyone yells surprise. The kids are my good friends so even if she does say no, its less embarrassing and its not the whole school.
