Based on your good taste in movies, I will now have to add this to my "watch list". I was going to make tonight a movie night, but I have no idea what I want to watch.

Sadly, if you replace The middle school talent section with "watching movies", that kind of resembles my time management as of late.

Sadly? I beg to differ!

Out of these movies, what would you watch?

This movie is def not for everyone. More drama than comedy (not what I expected) but it was done very well. Most of the comedy was just witty banter (a lot like Juno, which Jason Reitman also directed)

I think the reason that I liked it so much was that the movie was about being in a "transitional period" between jobs and relationships, which I can def relate to right now.

enough analysis though, here is a random photo of Micheal Bolton

Yeah, I posted my collection. You might notice it is somewhat eclectic. I can handle anything until it gets too close to total girly drama...

I like most of the movies on that list so my recommendations would be based off of the way I feel today... may not be the right choice for you. My moods are weird.

But right now, i could definitely watch...

2001: A Space Odyssey

A Clockwork Orange

Donnie Darko: The Director's Cut

The Godfather: The Coppola Restoration (BTW, they did screenings of this last summer at like 9 theaters around the country, one was in Baltimore. they showed the restorations of I and II back to back. Best 7 hours ever spent in a movie theater)

Heat

Requiem for a Dream: Director's Cut

Total Recall

Young Frankenstein (Never a bad idea)

Kill Bill: Volume 1 Kill Bill: Volume 2

Memento

In no particular order. Most of ones I chose were chosen because I havent seen them in at least 6 months

I think the first one was better in total, but episode 2 definitely had some excellent scenes. I do love the robot chicken.

John, I watched a number of those recently. But it has been a while for the godfather series and young frankenstein. I might have to queue those up. BTW, all in hi def bishes!

Oh, and some of the crappy movies were freebies. I'm not turning down free, even if it's crap.

I may or may not have torrented it.

Ergo, I don't have a link for it. I don't think it exists on youtube (except maybe in pieces). I have it on my HTPC which is accessible over the web, but I've yet to figure out if I can set multiple logins for it. I think the permissions on the only login that exists offer way too many administrative privileges to hand out to people...

There is a fantastic website that hosts trackers for nearly any tv show you can think of, but it is now by invite only. The whole thing is based off sharing credits, so it takes a little while to build up enough credits to download large series freely.

thats cool. I really need to see that though. The first one was hilarious.

I need netflix, I think that I will get it very soon considering that my PC is connected to my TV, and I have xbox 360 and PS3 that will all stream from it.

me too. I came home from the bar like 2 weeks ago, and Michele was watching it. I sat down to make fun of her and say "what is this gay ish" ...

I then proceeded to watch the entire movie. Does this mean I'm gay?

Are you comfortable with bit torrent clients? If so, I may be able to help you out. But the website I'm referring to is rather addictive. My list of shows is now rather extensive (Aqua Teen Hunger Force, TILT, Simpsons, South Park, Sienfeld, The Office UK, The Office US, The IT Crowd, Robot Chicken, Family Guy, Futurama, Top Gear, Scrubs, Doogie Howser and maybe some that I'm forgetting). Name an episode of any of those, and I certainly have it.

Sadly, as much as I am on the Internetz, and the fact that I used to build networks for businesses for work, I really don't know how to use any of that stuff. Probably would not be a bad thing to learn at some point though.
