no way... First, that price is insane.I've seen SR swapped S13s go cheaper than that.. That's nothing but a stock KA with a T28 slapped on it. I'd steer clear...

Before you do all that, figure out if you actually like drifting. Ideally, find a buddy who drifts who would let you share seat time at an event. Find a nice clean car (it's tough in the NJ/PA area but you do find them). Shoddy engine swaps suck, but they aren't worse then rust. If a car has a s****y SR swap but a clean exterior/interior, I'd say go for. Most of the cars you'll find will be a little ridiculously priced (i.e. SR swap, ebay suspension and a $5k price tag), but you can find good cars for what they're worth. Mod your car as you get better, don't build something you can't drive.

yea i enjoy it already just i have a e46 m3 aa stage 2 on methanol injection over 30k into the car after the base 40k i bought it for and merc s500 as my dd .. but id never be able to forgive my self if i put a m3 into a barrier or rail , so i figured id pick up a 240 to really get into the sport haha my m3 is great for drifting just way to much to worry about. and ive noticed that all the 240s around here are beat the hell up complete rust bucks or some shotty engine swap a 18 year old did in his backyard.. ive looked at 4 about already and wasted many hours driving for crap buckets lol

PA has a huge 240 scene.. I'm always seeing PA people on here. You should try to get to know a few of them... Maybe try the regional forums?

poop brown interior ftl.

but considering the cost of those wheels alone (if they arent knockoffs, kinda hard to tell), I would check it out. If the guy who "built" it cant answer any technical questions about his turbo setup, stay away.

get details on the motor build. was it rebuilt? stock internals? fuel pump, injectors, ECU tune, etc. check the turbo for shaft play.

your first post in this thread shows that you should have a good amount of automotive knowledge. use it.
