the search took me all over the place. I need the fill quantities for the 5 speed transmission and rear end. i want to go to synthetic on both and need to know how much I have to buy, and doesn't the gear oil have to be a specific kind? I could swear there is a special type for the synchros to be okay. Thanks.

Do not use GL5 in your transmission!! Use GL4 only!! GL5 will eat your syncros. Redline MTL seems to be the only GL4 left to buy on this planet. GL5 products that claim to replace GL4 products will still eat all the bronze onside your transmission. GL4 only!
