i know that we have talked about high compression before, but please help

Information on the naturally-aspirated KA24E and KA24DE engines.

i have a ka24e and i want to do a high compression engine and I want to know where i can get pistons, and can i use stock tie rods, and i want to make sure the engine can pass smog too, what kinds of steps are involve, i just want someone to tell me what i need and what i need to do in order for me to build a high compression engine so (PLEASE HELP)

Sure bud ,but id like to see you put those Tie rods in your engine ,what are you gonna steer with maybe your connecting rods?

Arias has some 10.7 & 10.8 compression ratio pistons for the E motor. Your stock connecting rods should be fine for an NA application...couldn't hurt to get em shot peened. I'm not going to whine to you about searching, I realise that you did, so did I and did not find a lot on this forum. The KA E motor is fairly common in road race applications so you may want to look in that directionhttp://www.race-cars.com/engsa...s.htm

Yeah and listen to luigi blow money on shot peening forged rods cause you really need to. Keep your same rods unless they are bent, have them resized and dont blow your money on the stupid **** these people say on here.

Stock KA rods come Shotpeened from the factory and will be perfectly good for an NA application, unless they are damaged in some way.
