Will this fit in a 1995 240sx?http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...16430

I know it is the sr20, but this is the s15 engine with 6 speed transmission. How much work would this be to put in if it is possible to do? Please don't laugh if this is somthing that is commonly put in 240sx's but I have never seen a s15 engine in a 240sx, only ones from older silvias.

Anything Is Possible with the right amount of cash at hand. Yes it can be done but you should do some searching using the search button to find out what exactly it will take I doubt it is much work. I've seen it done many times before, the reason you dont see it as often as a red top swap is monetary related. If your thinking of purchasing this engine off of ebay be extremely careful. There are lots of posts where people here on this forum have gotten ripped off. Be extremely Cautious.

I wouldn't trust ebay engines. Goto a quality reputable shop, then the transaction will be care free.

Do not buy an engine off ebay, enough said. Yes the engine will fit and if you want to get one go through heavy throttle or phase2motortrend or a repuatable company. You should contact those companies anyways and they could probly give you a better explaination of what all needs to be done in order to have the engine running in your car. Chances are youll be sorry if you get your motorset from ebay.

1.) dont ever spend anymore money on ebay than you can afford to loose.

2.) I understand taht if you search for SR20 on nico you will get about 3billion results. but this is a topic that has been covered. Go spend some time searching around, reading up on http://www.srswap.com and http://www.phase2motortrend.com has a good FAQ.

To answer your question directly YES it can be done. NO it is not as easy as the other SR swaps. I wouldnt even want to think about the wiring. you need the rear differential and driveshaft too as far as i know (because of the location of the speed sensor). In the end money & time are the real answer.
