okay so I'll make this as simple as possible.
The first i-key was lost so my nephew tried to start the car with a key I had made at walmart (in case the keys got locked in the car). I gave him the spare i-key and it would not work. The mechanical key (inside the ikey) will unlock the door but when you put it in the ignition, it doesn't turn. I had used the mechanical key before and it worked fine. I'm wondering if there is some kind of vehicle immobilizer that was triggered and needs to be reset?

A beeping sound is made and a red picture of a vehicle with a key design lights up on the dashboard display

Immobilizer/ignition lock.

Maybe you need to try pushing the twist dial in before twisting.

Yeah Andrew i tried that and I also tried pulling the wheel hard to the left and hard to the right to make sure it wasn't because the wheel was locked.
Another weird thing is, when I put the key in the ignition, it doesn't show me the red key or the green key.
